Tutorial maintenance of the adult anti-drowning T-shirt with automatic activation
In this video we will explain how to perform the maintenance of your product at least once a year.
First have the product manual ready.
Start by visually inspecting the T-shirt, checking the integrity of the structural seams. If any seam is damaged, replace the product.
Now let's focus on the trigger. Here is the trigger mechanism, here is the CO2 cartridge and finally the soluble detector. Next check the functionality and expiration of the three trigger components.
- For the CO2 cartridge, check for the absence of perforations, corrosion and ensure the seal is intact. Then verify the manufacturing date in the year month format (here 2024 June). Add 5 years to determine the expiration date which would be June 2029.
- For the soluble detector, check the expiration date which is printed directly on the component in the month year format (here April 2028).
- Finally on the trigger mechanism, the manufacturing date is engraved on one of the two sides using two dials indicating the month and year. Add 5years to determine the expiration date (here August 2022). The expiration date would be August 2027.
As you can see, the dates on the trigger mechanism and the CO2 cartridge are manufacturing dates, not expiration dates ; only the date on the soluble detector is the actual expiration date.
If any component does not meet the necessary conditions, replace the recharge accordingly or contact us.
First screw in the soluble detector then the gas cartridge ; once both components are properly screwed in, check that the indicators are green.
You have now completed the maintenance of your product and it is ready for the new season.
