Explanation of service

Includes:

  • Floatee© anti-drowning T-shirt maintenance service
  • A two-toned anti-UV UPF50+ and OEKO-TEX standard 100 T-shirt (only the part visible to the naked eye and in contact with the skin), replacing the old textile part of your anti-drowning T-shirt
  • Shipping and return costs included in the price

⚠ Buy this only if you already own a full anti-drowning T-shirt.

The lifejacket part with its automatic activation system can be reused with all Floatee T-shirt colors and sizes. So it can grow with your child until he/she can swim!

At the start of each season, the anti-drowning T-shirt will need to be inspected, and it's highly likely that your child has grown since last year.

With this service, we can inspect your product and supply it with a T-shirt in the right size for your child!

If you wish to dispose of the old T-shirt part, we will take it back at a price depending on its condition - see the criteria in our second life section, in the form of a partial refund of your order. But you can also keep your old T-shirt 😉

The spare anti-UV T-shirt is included in the price of the service. However, the replacement of the inflatable part and/or the recharge is not included. If the maintenance check reveals that the inflatable part and/or the recharge need to be changed, we will contact you to confirm the replacement and the associated costs.

This service is charged per maintenance, it is not a subscription.

How to activate the service

After you have placed your order, you can choose to activate this service at a time of your choosing.

Once you've decided, here are the steps to follow:

  1. Contact our customer service department via hello@floatee.co or our online form, specifying the subject of your request, the number of your order for this service, the description of the product you send back (example: a 4-year-old yellow anti-drowning T-shirt), and your address (for initial shipment and return shipment - please specify if different).
  2. Our customer service department will respond by sending you a shipping label
  3. Prepare your shipment with the product concerned, deflated beforehand, with the T-shirt and the technical part (life jacket + trigger). The package must be hermetically sealed. Stick the shipping label on your package.
  4. Entrust your shipment to the carrier.
  5. On receipt at our premises, we will check the inflatable part and change the T-shirt within a few days. If any problems are identified following the inspection, we will contact you.
  6. We'll send your product back to you ready to use! If you choose to dispose of your old T-shirt, we will make a partial refund on your order with the value depending on its condition.

This service is charged per maintenance and is not a subscription.

Shipping costs and delivery times

Shipping and return costs are included in the price of the service.

Due to transport times to and from our premises, the complete cycle may take up to a week from your initial shipment (without any defects being detected during the inspection).

Important information

⚠ To be purchased only after buying a complete anti-drowning t-shirt. The lifejacket part with its automatic activation system can be reused with all Floatee t-shirt colors and sizes and we will reuse the one from your old anti-drowning t-shirt (after compliance check).

⚠ If the recharge (gas cartridge + detector) has to be changed because it was used before the maintenance check, an additional fee will be applied (price of a recharge).

⚠ If the inflatable part is found to be damaged during the inspection, we will contact you again to arrange for its replacement and the associated costs.

This service is not a subscription, each maintenance is deducted per unit. For example, if you want to send 2 T-shirts for maintenance, you will need to order 2 services.

If you choose to return your T-shirt by your own means, without using the shipping label provided by us, you remain responsible for your shipment in the event of loss or damage by the carrier.
