◬ The gas cartridge and soluble detector screwed to the automatic inflator are for single use. If the anti-drowning T-shirt is inflated, the cartridge and detector need to be replaced.

Because you never know when an accident is going to happen, we recommend you always have a recharge in anticipation (available separately here)

◬ After more than 10 inflations, the life jacket may be weakened, so we highly recommend you replace it.

  • Wash the T-shirt
  • Replace the T-shirt part with a different one
  • Change the T-shirt size to match your child’s growth

Can I bath with the children's anti-drowning T-shirt?

No, the anti-drowning T-shirt is not designed as bathing or swimming clothes but as a security equipment. It is to wear out of the water, it can be pulled off like a normal T-shirt when the child is authorized to go into the water. It is not a swimming instruction aid (like armbands, swimming rings, etc.). You will find the comparison here.

Does the children's anti-drowning T-shirt inflate under the rain?

No, the anti-drowning T-shirt requires to be in immersion in the water to be triggered. It is not activating in case of limited spraying: rain, water pistol, splash or spilt liquid, etc.

Is the children's anti-drowning T-shirt reusable after having been inflated?

Yes, the inflating life jacket part follows the growth of your child (from 10kg to 30 kg). It is easily separable from the T-shirt part which can be solely replaced when your child grows (see e-shop). Only the recharge (CO2 capsule with water-sensitive detector) is for single use.

Can the children's anti-drowning T-shirt be washed?

Yes, the T-shirt part can be separated from the inflating life jacket part. You can machine wash the T-shirt part alone at 30°C.

For the first wash, we recommend running a short cycle with just the T-shirt and an anti-discolouration wipe.

en espérant qu'il ne serve jamais

Article de bonne qualité et de bonne apparence livré rapidement. Je l'ai offert à mon petit-fils de 2 ans qui passe ses vacances au bord d'une pièce d'eau. La taille correspond bien à ce qui est mentionné sur le site. Ne se substitue évidemment pas à une bonne surveillance, mais peut donner un peu de temps aux adultes pour intervenir. J'espère qu'il ne se déclenchera jamais et restera une précaution un peu onéreuse, mais rassurante.

assez génial, belle qualité mais le prix est exorbitant

Merci beaucoup pour votre retour.

En ce qui concerne le prix, il est important de prendre en compte que nous sommes sur un produit conçu et certifié pour sauver la vie qui utilise des composants très spécifiques (donc qui coûtent cher).
Par ailleurs, le produit est fabriqué en France (notamment afin de garantir le plus haut niveau de qualité) au contraire de tous les gilets de sauvetage du marché moins chers qui sont produits en Chine.

Sachez que la partie technique est taille unique et donc réutilisable quand votre enfant grandit, vous n'aurez donc pas à racheter tout le produit (149€) l'année prochaine mais seulement la partie textile (59€ prix que vous pouvez réduire en nous en renvoyant en seconde vie la partie textile de cette année).

Enfin, nous investissons dans la R&D afin de continuer à améliorer le produit.
